    Be ready to leave at 8:30 a.m.
    Planning to arrive at Brandon, Iowa at 10-10:30.

    Sure, we have people from all over the state that are members, and some from out of state as well. Next meeting will is scheduled for 1 Nov at Sutliff Tavern at 4:00 I believe, will check with Barb to confirm that.

  5. The ride we were planning to the winery in Wisconsin has been called due to the weather report for Sunday. Low 40s and chance of flurries would not be fun. Will try to set up a date for a ride later this month, maybe up to Britebachs or further north into Wisconsin.

  6. Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids will be hosting some 2010 events of motorcycle interest.
    One Saturday a month in January, February, and March there will be a "Cycle-Therapy" sessions called Saturday Cycle Seminars. Discussions and indoor activites will visit topics from Street Smarts, Intersections, Group Riding, etc.
    Also, May 22 & 23 KCC will be hosting a first annual Moto-Polooza on the Cedar Rapids campus. Along with various motorcycle courses will be Slider Gilmore and his Accident Scene Management presentation and various dealer representatives. An entire weekend of activities to celebrate May as Motorcycle Awareness month.

  7. Weather Permiting! The 9th of October some us are going to ride up to Wisconsin to the Spurgeon Winery for their Fall Festival. http://www.spurgeonvineyards.com/harvest_festival.cfm If you are interested in riding along meet at the BP/A&W station just North of I80 on highway 1. We plan to leave at 8:00. Initially we will be follow Hwy 1 to the 1/151 junction so if you live further north you can join up with us as we got through Mt. Vernon or at Anamosa. Switching over to county and state roads at that point and will cross the Mississppi river at McGreagor. This will be a all day ride, once again weather permitting.
